History

Founded in 1954, bäumlin & ernst ag (beag) was one of the first companies in Switzerland to specialise in texturizing polyamide 6.6 filament yarns for the hosiery industry. Since then, the company has continuously evolved in response to changing markets, customer requirements and technological developments.
Today, beag positions itself as a development and engineering partner for innovative and customer-specific yarn solutions. Our expertise covers the development and production of textured yarns, air-textured yarns, elastic covered yarns and specialty twisted yarns, as well as functional yarn solutions for demanding technical applications.
By combining established textile processes with modern technologies, engineering expertise and the extensive know-how of our employees, we develop yarn solutions tailored to the specific requirements of our customers.
