Tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant yarns
Polyamide, Cordura®, polyester, aramid, and high-modulus polyethylene (UHMWPE) yarns with increased tear strength (HT, modulus of elasticity) and abrasion resistance (MT) are used as air textured yarns (AJT) or twisted yarns (TWY) in technical fabrics. The particularly resistant yarns are used in coating fabrics for drive and conveyor belts, but also for seat covers in the automotive, furniture, and outdoor sectors. When it comes to safety and protective fabrics (PPE), there can be no compromises on quality.
