Covering
Single Covering (SC)
An elastic core yarn (EL) is covered with another yarn. The outer yarn determines the elasticity of the elastic yarn.
Double Covering (DC)
An elastic core yarn (EL) is covered with two additional yarns. This can be done in the same or opposite direction (S, Z / SS, ZZ). The first outer yarn determines the elasticity of the elastic yarn. The second is the handle-defining yarn.
Air Covering (AC)
An elastic core yarn (EL) is intermingled with one or more yarns parallel through an air-jet nozzle.
